Dr. Genaro Martinez is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with more than 25 years of experience caring for patients throughout Southern California. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Scripps Mercy Medical Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Martinez has served in numerous physician leadership roles, including Medical Director, Hospitalist Program Director, and Associate Program Medical Director. He also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine.

Dr. Martinez brings extensive experience managing both acute and chronic medical conditions, with a strong understanding of the importance of continuity between the hospital and the primary care setting. His approach emphasizes thoughtful, comprehensive care, disease prevention, and helping patients better understand and manage their health. His decades of experience in hospital medicine provide him with a unique perspective when caring for patients with complex medical needs.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Martinez has dedicated much of his career to physician education and improving the quality of medical care within his community. Fluent in Spanish, he is committed to communicating clearly with patients and building lasting relationships based on trust and respect.
