Dr. Christine Y. Ko is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a diverse and accomplished career spanning over 20 years. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, followed by a Family Practice Residency at St. John’s Healtheast in Maplewood, Minnesota. Dr. Ko is passionate about providing compassionate care that considers not only the disease but also the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Ko has worked in various clinical settings, from full-spectrum family practice with obstetrics to urgent care, and sports medicine. She has also provided telemedicine services through Amwell Medical Group, offering virtual consultations for patients across the United States. She is particularly skilled in patient education, counseling, and building strong, trusting relationships with her patients.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Ko has made significant contributions as a preceptor for Physician Assistant students at esteemed institutions like Stanford University and the University of California, Irvine. She has also been involved in medical missions, providing healthcare in
underserved areas of Alaska, Mongolia, and Kenya.

Dr. Ko is passionate about integrative medicine, combining functional medicine with a holistic approach that includes acupuncture, a field in which she has received specialized training. Her professional interests also include women’s health, sports medicine, and clinic-based procedures.
