Dr. Cynthia K. Recinto is a highly experienced board-certified Internal Medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical expertise. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine in Manila, Philippines, and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Recinto is also board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.


Throughout her career, Dr. Recinto has held significant leadership roles, including serving as Vice Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at Southwest Health Care System. She is deeply involved in the education and mentorship of the next generation of physicians, serving as
core faculty in the SoCal Internal Medicine Residency Program, where she supervises residents and participates in didactic teaching.


Dr. Recinto is passionate about patient care and clinical excellence, having worked extensively as a hospitalist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her diverse medical background includes a foundation in pediatrics, which enriches her approach to patient care. In addition to her clinical work, she has served in various administrative roles, including Medical Director and Chair of the Department of Medicine at Jersey Shore Hospital.


A recognized leader in her field, Dr. Recinto has received numerous accolades for her clinical skills and dedication to patient satisfaction, including being named to America’s Top Physicians and earning the Excellence Award for Physician of the Quarter from Southwest Health Care System.
